Manic Street Preachers je velšská alternativní rocková skupina založená v roce 1986. Současnou sestavu tvoří kytarista a zpěvák James Dean Bradfield, baskytarista a textař Nicky Wire a bubeník Sean Moore. Kapela je známá inteligentními, politicky laděnými texty a sound od punku po indie rock.
Album Critical Thinking vyšlo na Columbia a jedná se o deluxe edici na dvojalbu CD. První disk obsahuje dvanáct skladeb včetně titulní Critical Thinking, Decline & Fall či Hiding in Plain Sight. Druhý disk nabízí demonahrávky všech skladeb z prvního disku a dále remix skladby Decline & Fall od Stevena Wilsona.
