Billy Joel je americký rockový zpěvák, klavírista a skladatel. Přezdívaný Piano Man podle své nejznámější skladby z roku 1973, patří k nejprodávanějším sólovým umělcům Spojených států. V letech 1971–1993 vydal dvanáct studiových alb ve stylu rocku a popu.
Kompilační DVD The Essential Billy Joel vyšlo v roce 2001 a shrnuje vrcholy Joelovy kariéry.
