Grateful Dead byla americká rocková skupina založená v roce 1965 v Kalifornii, proslulá eklektickým stylem spojujícím prvky rocku, folku, country, jazzu, bluegrassu, blues, gospelu a psychedelie. Známá byla především dlouhými improvizacemi na koncertech a oddanou fanouškovskou základnou zvanou Deadheads. V roce 2007 obdržela skupina Grammy za celoživotní přínos.
Album Boston Garden, Boston, Ma 5/7/77 (RSD 2023) na vinylu zachycuje koncert ze 7. května 1977 v bostonské Boston Garden. Jedná se o limitované vydání pro Record Store Day 2023, jehož účelem je podpořit tradiční kamenné hudební prodejny.
