Dream Theater je americká progresivní metalová kapela založená v roce 1985 v Bostonu. Proslula technickou virtuozitou, komplexními skladbami a oddaností rockovému řemeslu.
Album Lost Not Forgotten Archives: The Number Of The Beast 2002 na barevném vinylu a CD zachycuje výjimečný koncert z Paříže roku 2002, kdy kapela provedla kompletní album The Number of the Beast od Iron Maiden. Nahrávka obsahuje všech osm skladeb originálu – od Invaders přes Children of the Damned až po monumentální Hallowed Be Thy Name. Jde o poctu jednomu z nejslavnějších heavy metalových alb všech dob, provedená v charakteristickém progresivním stylu Dream Theater.
V době nahrávky tvořili Dream Theater John Petrucci (kytara), John Myung (baskytara), Mike Portnoy (bicí), James LaBrie (zpěv) a Jordan Rudess (klávesy).
