Third Bass byla americká hip-hopová skupina aktivní na přelomu 80. a 90. let, kterou tvořili MC Serch, Prime Minister Pete Nice a DJ Richie Rich. Patřila mezi první interrasové hip-hopové formace, jimž se podařilo proniknout do mainstreamu.
Album Derelicts of Dialect z roku 1991 na CD přináší 23 skladeb včetně hitového singlu Pop Goes the Weasel, který skupině zajistil širokou popularitu. Deska zachycuje klasický boom-bap styl zlaté éry hip-hopu s ostrými texty a precizní rytmikou. Kromě studiových nahrávek obsahuje remixovou verzi titulní skladby i rozhlasovou úpravu hitu. Obě studiová alba Third Bass získala zlatou certifikaci RIAA.
