Thievery Corporation je washingtonské duo Roba Garzy a Erica Hiltona, jehož hudební styl mísí prvky dubu, acid jazzu, indické klasiky a brazilské bossa novy s lounge estetikou. Formace vznikla v polovině 90. let ve stejnojmenném klubu Eighteenth Street Lounge, který Hilton spoluvlastní.
Album It Takes A Thief na double vinylu nabízí výběr skladeb, které představují typický zvuk dua — od hypnotické Lebanese Blonde přes Shadows of Ourselves až po Vampires či Richest Man in Babylon. Celkem 16 nahrávek rozložených do dvou LP pokrývá chillout, trip-hop a downtempo paletu Thievery Corporation. Vydáno ve spolupráci s labely 4AD a !K7, kterými duo doprovázelo svou tvorbu.
