The Style Council byla britská kapela založená v roce 1983 Paulem Wellerem, bývalým zpěvákem a kytaristou The Jam, a klávesákem Mickem Talbotem. Skupina propojovala prvky soulu, jazzu a popu s jemnou tanečností a společenskou angažovaností.
Album Café Bleu vyšlo v roce 1984 jako debut skupiny a přineslo hity Long Hot Summer a You're The Best Thing. Tato speciální edice na šesti vinylových stranách obsahuje kromě původních skladeb i rozšířené verze, dema a instrumentální variace, včetně My Ever Changing Moods či Dropping Bombs On The Whitehouse.
Mezi stálými členy kapely se postupně zařadili bubeník Steve White a zpěvačka Dee C. Lee.
