Soundgarden byla americká rocková skupina, která vznikla v Seattlu v roce 1984 a patřila k zakladatelům grunge. Spolu s Nirvana, Alice in Chains a Pearl Jam tvořila tzv. velkou čtyřku seattleské grungeové scény. Skupina se rozpadla v roce 1997 a znovu se sešla v roce 2010.
Živé album Live From the Artists Den vyšlo v roce 2019 na dvojCD u vydavatelství UMe v digipackovém obalu. Nahrávka obsahuje 29 skladeb a nabízí reprezentativní průřez kapelou — od klasik jako Spoonman, Black Hole Sun či Outshined až po novější skladby z alba King Animal. Album zachycuje koncert ze série Artists Den, která propojuje významné umělce s intimním komorním prostředím. Soundgarden zde předvedli energické grunge rytmy i heavy rockovou surovost, jež z nich činila jednu z nejdůležitějších kapel 90. let.
V době vydání alba tvořili sestavu kytarista Kim Thayil, bubeník Matt Cameron a baskytarista Ben Shepherd.
