Slash je britsko-americký kytarista známý především ze skupiny Guns N' Roses, s níž na přelomu 80. a 90. let dosáhl celosvětového úspěchu. Po odchodu z kapely v roce 1996 se věnoval různým projektům včetně superskupiny Velvet Revolver a od roku 2010 vydává sólová alba, na nichž spolupracuje se zpěvákem Mylesem Kennedym z kapely Alter Bridge a dalšími hudebníky.
Tento dvojalbový set na 2 CD spojuje desky Living the Dream (2018) a Apocalyptic Love (2012), obě vydané pod hlavičkou Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators. Living the Dream je čtvrtým studiovým albem kapely a přináší 12 skladeb hard rocku s kompozicemi jako The Call of the Wild, Mind Your Manners nebo Lost Inside the Girl. Apocalyptic Love z roku 2012 je druhým studiovým albem spolupráce Slashe s Mylesem Kennedym a obsahuje 13 skladeb včetně Anastasia, You're a Lie a Standing in the Sun. Set vyšel v rámci katalogové akce vydavatelství Warner Music France v roce 2020 v obalu jewel case ve vložném kartonu.
V době vydání alba Living the Dream (2018) sestavu tvořili Slash (kytara), Myles Kennedy (hlavní zpěv), Frank Sidoris (kytara), Todd Kerns (basa) a Brent Fitz (bicí).
