Scorpions je legendární německá hardrocková skupina založená v roce 1965 v Hannoveru Rudolfem Schenkerem. Proslavili se melodickým heavy metalem a mohutnými rockovými baladami, mimo jiné hity jako Rock You Like a Hurricane, Still Loving You a Wind of Change.
Album Return to Forever vyšlo v Evropě 20. února 2015 u vydavatelství RCA. Jde o osmé studiové album skupiny od roku 2000 a poslední s bubeníkem Jamesem Kottakem, který kapelu opustil v září 2016. Třídiskové vydání obsahuje celkem 64 nahrávek zahrnujících jak nové studiové skladby, tak živé a koncertní verze. Mezi novými skladbami vynikají Going Out With a Bang, We Built This House a Rock My Car.
V době vydání alba tvořili Scorpions Rudolf Schenker (kytara, doprovodný zpěv), Klaus Meine (hlavní zpěv), Matthias Jabs (kytara, doprovodný zpěv), James Kottak (bicí) a Paweł Mąciwoda (baskytara, doprovodný zpěv).
