Saxon patří k zásadním kapelám heavy metalu a new wave of British heavy metal (NWOBHM). Anglická skupina, založená v roce 1975 v Barnsley, ovlivnila celou řadu následovníků včetně Metallicy nebo Megadeth a prodala celosvětově přes 23 milionů nahrávek.
Album Power & The Glory z března 1983 je páté studiové album skupiny. Reedice z roku 2021 obsahuje sedmnáct skladeb včetně bonusových studiových dem z Kaley Studios. Mezi skladbami jsou Warrior, Nightmare, The Eagle Has Landed nebo Midas Touch.
