Necrofier je americká black metalová trojice z Houstonu, Texas, která hraje melodický black metal inspirovaný klasickou školou žánru. Kapela se vyznačuje disonantními baskytarovými linkami, dunivými vokály, řezavými kytarami a drtivou bicí sekcí.
Burning Shadows in the Southern Night vyšlo roku 2023 na CD pod vydavatelstvím Season of Mist Underground Activists. Album přináší deset skladeb v celkové stopáži přes 47 minut. Mezi výrazné momenty patří titulní Total Southern Darkness, brutální Destroying Angels, epická Forbidden Light of the Black Moon nebo závěrečná Burnt by the Sacred Flame.
