Mötley Crüe je americká glam metalová skupina z Los Angeles, založená roku 1981 baskytaristem Nikki Sixxem a bubeníkem Tommym Leem, k nimž se připojili kytarista Mick Mars a zpěvák Vince Neil. Skupina patří mezi nejprodávanější rockové kapely všech dob s celosvětovým prodejem přes 100 milionů desek.
Kompilace Crücial Crüe vyšla roku 1989 u vydavatelství Elektra a shrnuje deset největších hitů kapely z jejich nejúspěšnějšího období. Na albu najdete klasiky jako Dr. Feelgood, Girls, Girls, Girls, Home Sweet Home a Shout at the Devil, které definovaly zvuk amerického glam metalu 80. let.
