Jamie Lawson je anglický písničkář z Manchesteru, který v roce 2015 jako úplně první interpret podepsal smlouvu se značkou Gingerbread — vydavatelstvím, jež založil Ed Sheeran, aby podpořil talentované tvůrce. S Sheeranem se Lawson zná už od roku 2000, tedy dlouho předtím, než Sheerana proslavily písně jako Thinking Out Loud nebo The A Team.
Album The Years In Between na vinylu je Lawsonovým pátým studiovým počinem, který vyšel pod hlavičkou Sheeranova vydavatelství Gingerbread.
