Guns N' Roses je americká hard rocková skupina založená v roce 1985 v Los Angeles. Jejich klasickou sestavu tvořili zpěvák Axl Rose, kytarista Slash, kytarista Izzy Stradlin, basista Duff McKagan a bubeník Steven Adler.
Kompilace Use Your Illusion vyšla v roce 1998 u vydavatelství Geffen Records jako rozsáhlý box set na 8 Blu-ray discích, zahrnující celkem 97 nahrávek ze stylu hard rock a arena rock. Mezi stěžejní skladby patří November Rain, Civil War, Live and Let Die či Don't Cry. Skladba November Rain byla pro toto vydání nově remixována. Box obsahuje unikátní sběratelské bonusy — repliku fanklubu Conspiracy Inc včetně členské karty a newsletterů z let 1991–1992, deset oboustranných litografií s barevnými obaly, sedm fotografií kapely, repliky textilních backstage pasů z Illusion Tour, repliku vstupenky na koncert v Ritz Theatre 1991 a velkoformátový plakát.
V roce 1998, kdy toto vydání vyšlo, byli členy kapely Axl Rose na zpěvu, Dizzy Reed na klávesy, Paul Huge, Josh Freese na bicí, Robin Finck na elektrickou kytaru, Tommy Stinson na baskytaru a Chris Pitman.
