Grateful Dead byla americká rocková skupina založená v roce 1965 v Kalifornii, známá svým eklektickým stylem spojujícím prvky psychedelie, folku, bluegrassu, jazzu a country. Prosluli dlouhými improvizacemi během živých vystoupení a oddanou fanouškovskou základnou zvanou „Deadheads“.
Album Europe '72, Vol. 22: Lyceum Theatre, London, England 5/26/72 vyšlo v roce 2011 na Grateful Dead Records a dokumentuje poslední koncert evropského turné skupiny z května 1972. Čtyřdiskový set obsahuje 31 skladeb včetně rozvinutých verzí hitů jako Playing in the Band, Truckin', Morning Dew či The Other One. Vystoupení v legendárním londýnském divadle Lyceum Theatre patří mezi nejslavnější koncerty v historii kapely.
