Erroll Garner (1923–1977) byl americký jazzový pianista a skladatel, proslulý swingovou hrou a baladami. Jeho nejznámější kompozice „Misty“ se stala jazzovým standardem. Kritici ho označují za jednoho z nejcharakterističtějších pianistů své generace – byl samouk, celý život hrál bez not.
Album Trio vyšlo jako remasterovaná reedice na LP v roce 2000. Nabízí čtrnáct jazzových standardů, mezi nimiž zazní On the Sunny Side of the Street, Moonglow, The Man I Love či Over the Rainbow. Garnerova virtuózní interpretace a osobitý styl z něj činí povinnou položku pro milovníky klasického jazzu.
