Dave Gahan a Martin Gore jsou základem rockové kapely Depeche Mode, kterou založili v roce 1980. V roce 1989 vyšlo album se záznamem koncertu, terý se uskutečnil v rámci amerického turné k albu Music for the Masses. Záznam byl pořízen v Pasadeně v Kalifornii na stadionu Rose Bowl.
