David Fray je bezpochyby jedním z nejvýraznějších současných francouzských klavíristů a je mimo jiné také všeobecně respektovaným interpretem skladeb Johanna Sebastiana Bacha. Téměř každá z jeho nahrávek je považována za významnou hudební událost, což dělá z jeho nového alba o to více očekávanou záležitost, protože znamená návrat po několikaleté odmlce. Nahrávka obsahuje mistrovská díla oblíbených barokních skladatelů včetně Händela, Rameaua, Couperina nebo Domenica Scarlattiho. Vedle nich zde ale najdeme i výrazně méně známého autora, jakým byl nepochybně Joseph Nicolas Pancrace Royer. Nejvíce zastoupeným skladatelem je ale pochopitelně Frayův oblíbenec J. S. Bach. Program zahrnuje jak původní díla, tak i klavírní transkripce legendárních pianistů jako byli např. Siloti, Kempff, Busoni nebo náš August Stradal. Album navíc obsahuje světovou premiéru nahrávky Monsaingeonova klavírního aranžmá Andante z Bachovy Sonáty pro housle č. 2 a moll, BWV 1003.
