Eric Clapton je anglický bluesový a rockový kytarista, zpěvák a skladatel, obecně považovaný za jednoho z nejvýznamnějších kytaristů všech dob. Umístil se na druhém místě v seznamu „100 nejlepších kytaristů všech dob“ časopisu Rolling Stone a je trojnásobným členem Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Živé album 24 Nights: Rock na 2 CD a DVD zachycuje rockové části legendární série 24 koncertů, které Clapton odehrál v Royal Albert Hall v roce 1991. Nahrávky byly nově zremasterovány a obsahují rockové verze klasik jako Layla, Cocaine, Wonderful Tonight či I Shot The Sheriff. Tento soubor je součástí projektu The Definitive 24 Nights, který přináší kompletní záznam těchto historických vystoupení rozdělený do tří žánrových celků — rock, blues a orchestrální.
